Points of sale, stations and devices in the app

Cash register, POS and shipments. Content verified: 12 October 2026.

You start the configuration with the layout of places: a point of sale, within it optionally stations, and devices attached to them. Print rules are based on this layout, so it is worth mirroring how your shop or warehouse actually looks.

Point of sale

  1. In the "Points and stations" tab, click "Add point".
  2. Enter a "Code" (e.g. SKLEP1; letters, digits, - and _) and a "Name". The code must be unique.
  3. Choose a "Kind": Shop, Stand, Warehouse or Online.
  4. Choose the "Warehouse" from which goods sold at this point are issued.
  5. In the "Sales channels" field, enter channels separated by commas, e.g. pos, allegro. An empty field means no restriction (in the table: "all").
  6. Optionally enter an "Address" and save.

Channels restrict which channels can order printouts at this point. You can edit the point, and "Deactivate" and "Activate" it. An inactive point does not accept new jobs and is not included in the coverage validator.

Stations

The "Add station" button works only once at least one point exists. Choose a "Point of sale", give it a "Code" (e.g. K1) and a "Name". The station code must be unique within the point. Stations are needed only when different registers at one point are to print on different devices.

Devices

  1. In the "Devices" tab, click "Add device".
  2. Enter a "Name" (e.g. Register 1 - shop) and choose a "Device type". The type cannot be changed after creation.
  3. Choose "Manufacturer / protocol". Fiscal cash register: Posnet, Novitus or Elzab. Label printer: ZPL (Zebra) or ESC/POS. Non-fiscal receipt printer and drawer: ESC/POS. Optionally enter a "Model".
  4. For a fiscal cash register, enter the "Register unique number": 8 to 16 letters and digits, printed on the casing. The register must also be assigned to a point of sale.
  5. Choose a "Point of sale" and, if needed, a "Station" (a station requires a selected point).
  6. Choose a "Connection type" (e.g. Network (TCP/IP) with an address and port, or a COM port) and set "Alert after no signal (minutes)". This is information for your team: the actual connection is set in the Bridge configuration file.
  7. Save, then pair the device with Bridge (see the article on installation and pairing).

A device can be "Disabled": it then loses access immediately, rules pointing to it stop working, and waiting jobs go to you for a decision. Without a device added, you cannot create a print rule.

Where to find it in the app

  • "Sales" menu, "Cash registers and printers", "Points and stations" and "Devices" tabs.
  • Adding and editing require the fiscal:write permission; viewing requires fiscal:read. The module requires the `fiscal` business profile feature.
  • After configuring, go to "Print rules": the point and the device alone do not yet say what to print on what.
