About us
We're building Zaksio, an ERP for Polish businesses and accounting firms in which an AI team prepares accounting, HR and payroll, and a human makes the decisions.
Mission
Less typing, more decisions
We want business owners and accountants to see only what needs their judgement in the morning, while the system prepares the rest on its own, in a way that can be checked.
The name Zaksio comes from the Polish word "zaksięguj" ("post it"), an accountant's most basic verb. We start with the National e-Invoicing System and accounting for accounting firms and small and medium-sized businesses, and we plug further areas (HR and payroll, warehouse, multichannel sales, fiscal cash registers and shipments) into the same approvals engine.
Approach
The principles we follow
Accounting that does itself, with a human approving
If the system can work something out on its own (classification, account assignment, payment matching), it does so and shows the result for approval. It doesn't wait for questions.
AI doesn't calculate money
Amounts, VAT, contributions, taxes and depreciation are calculated by deterministic, tested code. The language model interprets, classifies, proposes and explains.
Everything leaves a trace
The ledger is append-only, and changes and agent actions leave a trace in the audit log. Document content is treated as data, not as instructions.
Honesty about the state of the product
We write only about what works, and the results of legal and HR rules are verified by a human: an accountant or HR specialist.
Zaksio is not a tax adviser or an accounting firm. For accounting firms, it is a tool that serves many clients and hands to the expert whatever needs judgement.
