Shipping and couriers: service selection from explicit rules

You provide your own courier accounts, and Zaksio selects the service according to the rules, creates a parcel from the picking order, downloads the label and tracks the parcel. When no rule matches, the order waits for a decision.

Supported couriers

  • Beta

    InPost (ShipX)

Parcel lockers, courier, cash on delivery, PDF and ZPL labels, tracking with a webhook, pickup points, quotes and pickup orders.

  • Beta

    DHL Parcel Polska

Domestic e-commerce contract (WebAPI2): labels, cash on delivery, DHL POP points, returns and pickup protocol.

  • Beta

    DHL Express

International parcels (MyDHL API): labels, quotes, tracking and returns. The service does not support cash on delivery.

  • Beta

    GLS Poland

ADE-Plus: labels, ParcelShop, cash on delivery, cancellation, pickup protocol and tracking.

  • Beta

    UPS

OAuth 2.0 and REST: domestic and international shipping, quotes, tracking, Access Point locations, returns and pickup.

  • Customer courier accounts

Multiple accounts per courier, a default account for the company and warehouse, sandbox or production mode, connection test. Credentials are encrypted and are never returned in responses.

Rules, labels and tracking

  • Service selection rules

Conditions: weight, size, country, pickup point, cash on delivery, channel, value, warehouse and delivery method. The first matching rule wins, and the response includes a "why this courier" trail. No matching rule means a human decision.

  • Parcels and labels

One active parcel per picking order (no duplicates), PDF label in the document archive or ZPL, cancellation and pickup protocol.

  • Tracking and order statuses

InPost webhook and periodic polling of the other couriers. The first pickup ships the order, delivery closes the order, and a failed delivery goes to a decision.

  • Errors and fallback courier

Retries with increasing delay (up to 5 attempts). The fallback courier is tried only after availability or authorisation errors, never after a timeout, so as not to duplicate a parcel.

  • Cash on delivery (COD)

Matching the courier's payment to delivered cash-on-delivery parcels and a settlement proposal in the team inbox. We settle only on an exact match of totals, and you should confirm how to post cash-on-delivery payments with your accountant.

  • Returns

Return label with the same courier and on the same service, if it supports it. Receiving a return into the warehouse is done in the returns module.

  • Passing the parcel number to the channel

The tracking number is passed to the sales platform through the channel connector, so the buyer can see that the parcel is on its way.
