ZUS and PIT files: DRA, RCA, PIT-11, PIT-4R and marking as filed
HR and payroll. Content verified: 12 October 2026.
What it is for
Zaksio generates files from the data of approved payroll runs, contracts and absences, and each of them is validated against the official XSD schema.
- To ZUS in KEDU 5.7 format: DRA, RCA and RSA from the approved payroll (DRA totals match RCA totals), as well as ZUA, ZZA, ZWUA and ZSWA.
- PIT-11 (employment, mandate, specific work, benefits, relief for young people, contributions), PIT-4R, PIT-8AR and IFT-1R. In PIT-8AR and IFT-1R you enter the amounts yourself, because the flat-rate tax is not calculated from payroll runs.
- Annual statement per employee and payer. The payer's annual tax calculation does not exist, so it is not in Zaksio either: the employee files their own return based on PIT-11.
Where to find it in the app
HR and payroll, "ZUS" tab ("Generate documents" button, employee registrations and ZUS deadlines) and the "Annual PIT" tab (annual summary per employee, "Generate" PIT-11, as well as PIT-4R, PIT-8AR and IFT-1R).
Step by step
- Approve the payroll run for the month. DRA, RCA and RSA files are created only from an approved run.
- Generate a file of the chosen type. You create ZUA, ZZA, ZWUA and ZSWA notifications for a specific employee.
- Review the warnings and data, then download the file.
- Import the file into the Płatnik program or upload it to PUE ZUS. You upload PIT files to the appropriate tax application.
- Sign and send the document with your qualified, trusted or personal signature, or with authorisation data.
- In the file details, mark the document as filed and optionally enter the UPO number. The status is set by a person; the system will not do this on its own.
