PrestaShop: webservice key and shop synchronisation

Sales channels and marketplaces. Content verified: 12 October 2026.

What it is for

The PrestaShop connector links Zaksio to your shop through the webservice (versions 1.7, 8 and 9). It fetches orders with items, customer details and addresses, the list of listings (including combinations), sends stock levels and passes on parcel numbers. The connector deliberately does not send prices.

Where to find it in the app

Sales and logistics, "Sales channels", "Add sales channel", type "PrestaShop", and in the channel the "Connection" tab. Required fields: "Shop address" (https, without /api at the end) and "Webservice key". Optional: "IDs of order statuses meaning paid", "Order status ID 'shipped'" and "IDs of statuses meaning cancellation" (comma-separated IDs).

Where to get the key

  1. In the PrestaShop panel, go to Advanced Parameters, Webservice and turn on the option to enable the PrestaShop webservice.
  2. Click "Add new webservice key", generate a key and set the status to "Enabled".
  3. Grant read permissions (GET): orders, customers, addresses, countries, currencies, carriers, order_states, products, combinations, stock_availables, order_carriers, configurations and messages.
  4. Grant write permissions: PUT for stock_availables and order_carriers and POST for order_histories. They are needed for stock levels and parcel numbers.
  5. In Zaksio, enter the shop address and the key, click "Save credentials", then "Check connection".

Shop requirements

  • The shop runs over HTTPS.
  • mod_rewrite works on the hosting. If you get a 401 error despite a correct key, add the line "CGIPassAuth On" (or a SetEnvIf Authorization rule) to the shop's .htaccess file, so that the authorisation header reaches PrestaShop.
  • The webservice key is 32 characters long and is used as the authentication login, without a password.

What it synchronises

  • Orders: fetched by polling every few minutes. We recognise the "paid" and "cancelled" statuses from the shop configuration or from the IDs entered in the optional fields.
  • Listings: products and combinations (identifier in the form "id:attribute").
  • Stock levels: sent in batches of 20 items. The write goes via XML because the webservice does not read JSON, but the connector handles that itself. Stock levels cannot be written for items whose stock PrestaShop calculates itself (advanced warehouse management).
  • Tracking number: saved on the order's carrier. If you provide "Order status ID 'shipped'", the order will also get that status.
  • Prices: the connector does not send them, because the price in PrestaShop is net, and the gross price depends on tax rules, the customer's country and special prices. You set prices in the shop.
