Pick, pack, ship in a Polish ERP: from order to parcel without overselling

Expert knowledge. Content verified: 1 November 2026.

Selling across several channels (Allegro, your own shop, wholesale) has one technical enemy: two orders for the last item. Below is a flow that prevents it and shortens the path from order to parcel.

1. Import without duplicates

The same order from a channel must not enter twice, even if synchronization repeats. An order is recognized by the pair: channel and external identifier.

2. Stock reservation

  • Reservation is atomic: with two parallel orders for the last item only one gets it, and the other receives a notice of shortage.
  • Per-channel stock pools with a buffer let you keep part of the stock for sale in a physical shop.

3. Warehouse allocation by rules

Choosing the warehouse and the courier service are explicit rules. When no rule matches, the order gets the status "needs a decision" instead of a guess, because a wrong choice costs a parcel shipped from the wrong place.

4. Picking (pick)

The item list is arranged in shelf order, so the picker follows one route instead of going back for more products.

5. Packing (pack)

Scanning every item during packing catches mistakes before the parcel leaves. Shipping issues the goods from the warehouse with a WZ document, with the cost of goods sold.

6. Shipping (ship) and tracking

  • The label is created at the courier chosen by a rule, and the tracking number goes to the sales channel.
  • Shipment statuses return to the order, and cash on delivery is settled against the bank statement.

7. Returns

A return has its own flow: a return label, receipt into stock and, where needed, an invoice correction. This keeps the warehouse and the ledger consistent.
