KSeF offline certificate: where to get it and how to add it in Zaksio

Accounting and finance. Content verified: 3 November 2026.

The Offline certificate signs the QR II code on invoices issued in offline or emergency mode. Without it you can only issue invoices online. You get the certificate in the KSeF Taxpayer Application (production ap.ksef.mf.gov.pl, demo ap-demo.ksef.mf.gov.pl, test ap-test.ksef.mf.gov.pl); on the Settings screen, "KSeF" tab, there is an expandable guide "Where to get a KSeF Offline certificate" with a button to the right page.

Application in the Taxpayer Application

  1. Log in to the company's NIP (login.gov.pl or a qualified certificate) and choose "Wnioskuj o certyfikat" (apply for a certificate).
  2. Enter a name, set a password and click "Generuj" (generate). The file with the private key (.key) is saved on your device. The password cannot be recovered or changed, so keep it in a safe place.
  3. In the "Przesłanie wniosku" step choose "Podpis linku weryfikacyjnego wystawcy" as the certificate purpose and click "Wyślij wniosek o wydanie certyfikatu" (send the application).
  4. When the certificate has been issued ("Odśwież", refresh), click "Pobierz certyfikat" (download certificate), the .crt file.

Adding it in Zaksio

  1. Go to Settings, the "KSeF" tab, the "KSeF Offline certificate" card, and expand "Dodaj certyfikat (import)".
  2. Choose the environment, enter a name and point to the .crt file ("Or choose the certificate file") and the .key file ("Or choose the key file"). You can also paste their contents.
  3. In the "Hasło do klucza" (key password) field enter the password you set in the application and click "Dodaj certyfikat" (add certificate).
